Not every setting of the instrument is saved in memory for a sweep. Certain settings affect the instrument and can't be changed from point to point in the sweep. Refer to the SourceMeter Series User Manual for a well-defined list of settings (shown as bus commands) that can be saved in a Source Memory location. In general, functions related to measurements such as source function and output level, measurement function and range, and limit testing can be saved. Most of the system parameters, display, and Trigger Model settings can't be saved (global variables).
